We are delighted to have our first horse with Gordon Elliott Racing and very excited about what the future brings.

 

This 5yo Filly by Sholokhov out of the Flemensfirth mare 'See The Lightning' who herself is a half sister to the four time Grade 1 winner Yorkhill. She hails from the deep family of fellow Grade 1 winners The Listener and Offshore Account with the great Risk of Thunder further back in the pedigree.

 

 SHOLOKHOV, is the sire of top-rated Novice Chaser, Shishkin, leading top-rated Novice Hurdler Bob Olinger, Gold Cup Hero and 6 time Gr.1 Winner Don Cossack, and many more.

 

She has an excellent National Hunt pedigree. She is a good size and will be aimed at bumpers and maiden hurdles this season.

Gordon Elliot is a multiple Grand National, Gold Cup and Royal Ascot winning Racehorse Trainer based in Longwood, Co Meath, Ireland. Cullentra House stables is located two miles from the village of Longwood and just a couple of minutes from Enfield and the M4 motorway. Situated on 87 acres of grassland it is both private and peaceful yet close to direct transport links, we are under an hour away from both Dublin Airport and Dublin Port.

All facilities have been purpose built so are of the highest quality and have been designed to maximize efficiency and productivity. The stables have been constructed with an emphasis on ventilation to promote health and comfort for the horses and all of our stables are light, airy and of a comfortable size. We now have capacity for over 200 horses including a separate isolation unit of 6 stables as well as outdoor woodchip paddocks which are beneficial to horses with respiratory issues.
